Kurt's obituary
Kurt was born to Lawrence Jude Dressel and LaRue Elaine Colteryahn on April 30, 1961, in Pittsburgh PA. When Kurt was a child, the family relocated to Los Angeles CA.
Kurt joins both of his parents, his oldest brother, Keith Dressel, and older brother, Kevin Dressel, in Heaven. He is survived by his younger sister, Kim Robinson, of Huntsville AL.
Also surviving are Sheri Neiman, the mother of his boys and his two sons, Kristopher Garrett Dressel and Kory Dean Dressel, all living in Moscow ID. He is also survived by his wife, Susan McLean Dressel, and his step-children, Nicole McLean Gering and Wesley Jon McLean.
The greatest joy of Kurt's life were his grandchildren, Kylee McKenzie Gering, daughter of Nicole, Jacob Lane Reed, son of Nicole, Ivan Randall Fortner (Van), son of Wesley, and Kira LaRue Dressel, daughter of Kristopher.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving grandpa, father, husband, and son, Kurt began working at a very young age and spent 35 years in the retail grocery business. Kurt loved to go camping, fishing, and hunting and was an avid collector of knives and tools.
