Kristopher's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kristopher George Walker on February 1, 2023. Born in Portland, Oregon on December 4, 1973 to Jean and Ronald Walker, Kristopher was the beloved son and brother of a loving family.

Preceded in death by his mother Jean Walker, brother Kelly Walker, and sister Kimberly; Kris is survived by his son Kristopher; father Ronald Walker; brother Justin Walker and sister-in-law Michelle and their daughter Mackenzie; his brother Jeremy and wife Briseida and nieces, Nicole and Natalie; best friend and ex-wife Christi Walker; wife of Kelly, Thez Walker and  nephew Kyle Walker; Aunt Diane Abney; cousins Michael Alioth, Rhonda Alioth, and Jason Alioth.  Close friends, Ryan Richmond and his wife Natalie with their daughters Emily and Kaitlyn, and dear friends Heather Weston and Rhonda Jo Simengaard

Kris had a long career in the service industry as manager for Dennys and then Blackbear Diner.  Often times when Mackenzie was much younger, Kris would light up whenever he read to his niece or made fart noises in the "Talking Tom" app just to make her giggle. Kris also enjoyed shopping for collectibles or buying trinkets for those he loved. He was an avid fan of the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, and he loved to go and watch the Oregon Ducks with his brother Justin . Above all else, he enjoyed talking with his son, Kristopher and telling Justin how proud he was of the man Kristopher was growing up to be.

Kris was known to be a bit odd but ever so sweet, kind, thoughtful, loving, funny, special, eclectic, different and he had such a gentle and sensitive soul. He preferred spending time with loved ones and hanging out with his brother Justin who was his best friend. Kris was a special man who cared and loved everyone with all of his heart and soul and he will truly be missed by those who knew him. He was called home to our Heavenly father all too soon but his memory will live on for eternity. His heart was so full of love that will forever touch the hearts of those he loved.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Diabetes Research Center in Kris' name. A service will be held to celebrate Kris. The family asks that you please contact Michelle Walker for details.

We will forever keep Kris in our hearts until we meet again.
