Thank you for the nice reminder, although it will always be a sad though that Kristin is not with us, you gave me the chance to think about my family and how great it was when we were all together growing up.
God bless us all.

2022, Atlanta Botanical Gardens : Kristine's bench view
As the holidays approach and we remember those that can't be with us I wanted to share this beautiful view from Kristine's bench inside the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Kristine. Thinking of her makes me smile. Kristine and Matt were our next door neighbors in Hillsborough for many years. The kids on Scott Drive roamed in a pack from one house to another with the Carrig's, the Yates, Lynsey, Kyle and others, building those childhood memories like so many of us. Kristine and my son Brent were the best of buddies, starting school together and all that goes with that. They were in the same grade and shared many friends, including Shawn in later years. When I think of Kristine I think about the little girl who spent many nights at our house and Brent spent many nights at the Pettoni's in sleeping bags, until one day in middle school, it's as though they woke up and realized she was a girl and Brent was a boy. Pretty funny. But Brent found his friends and Kristine found Aubrey and her friends. I still can't believe she is not on this earth, I think, because she is still in my heart. An adorable, smart, funny little girl with blonde pigtails running in and out. I like to think she lives through Grace.

Dear friends and family, We hope this message finds you well and enjoying the quickly approaching spring weather. Spring is a beautiful time to visit the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. This coming April 19th, would have been Kristine’s 40th birthday. Lauren Pallotta and I will be at Kristine’s bench inside the gardens on Tuesday, April 19th, from 5pm - 7pm. We are asking anyone who can make it to stop by, say hello, share a memory, grab a drink, and enjoy the beautiful views. Kristine loved the gardens but more than that, she loved bringing people together. We hope to see you there and share with you a little of whats been happening with The Kristine Pettoni Foundation. Please feel free to pass the word along to others. Warm regards.

I also think of Kristine very often and ask myself what her advice would be or how she would respond to a situation. She continues to be a force in my life and for that I am truly grateful.

It's hard to believe it's been 2 years that this brave beautiful soul left us for a better resting place. I think about you often Kristine and am so thankful that our life paths met and will continue to support your life and courageous leadership! The view in the garden is priceless, just like you.

As Kristine's birthday week comes to a close I wanted to share a picture from her bench taken just a few weeks ago. We continue to miss her smile, strength and spirit.
