We are lucky to have Annie to share her mom’s stories. Her memory will definitely continue on. Much love to all who love her.

Krissy Zelewsky sent me a letter and I wanted to share some of it, because it was so beautiful.

FROM KRISSY ZELEWSKY:
Kris was a fierce and awesome mother to her children, and it goes without saying that her and Bill were meant for each other. Kristin's pride and devotion to everyone in your whole family circle was remarkable. I admired her artwork that she so proudly posted for all of us to see and enjoy on Facebook.

I remember her as a green earth defender who loved Butterflies, especially Monarchs, and also Praying Mantis, who she gave refuge to in the backyard of her home. She was a very special human being and I am glad to have known her, as I am glad to have known you and everyone in your beautiful family.

My most sincere condolences to Colette and all your family.
I remember several years ago I visited Bill and Kris at their home in Evergreen Pk. In their backyard Kris had a garden of very tall beautiful sunflowers growing. She explained to me how sunflowers are so important to the survival of bees and how important bees are for nature to grow. I thought how cool and important that is. It’s funny now when I see sunflowers I think about what Kris told me. So keep planting those sunflowers everybody. It will make Kris and the bees smile!!!
I still think one of the best things I ever did was introduce Kris to my brother 40 plus years ago.
Sometimes they agreed with that.
Sometimes not...

I knew back then that in the long run, it would be worth it.

You'll be missed Kris.
