We were friends years in your stop in Oregon between Cali and WA and today I randomly thought of you and went looking for you and found this. Im utterly heartbroken as this was not what I thought I’d find when I set out in my search this morning. I’ve always missed you, thought of you here and there over the years and I will always continue to remember you. You were such a beautiful light in this world and I am so incredibly thankful for the small part of your life I got to be a part of. Rest in peace Krissy 💔

She truly exemplified what it means to come from a good home and a Loving Mama. Your family was always there for me and I will never forget that. Kristen was an amazing woman and I am happy that she had children to carryon her lineage of just such a good soul in this world. Shelley, Debbie, David – you are in my thoughts and prayers always.

It has taken me sometime to post on here just for healing purposes, but I just wanted to share a little story. When we did the butterfly release at Krissy's Celebration of life, I had one that did not want to let go. It hung on for a bit, I gave it a kiss & then it finally flew so high. I always like to think that was her way of saying to me I'm going to be okay, let me go. I did not get to see her before she passed but every time, I see butterflies I always think of her. Backstory: Krissy was the first person when I joined the family that made me feel so truly welcome & would talk to me when I didn't know anyone at the big parties. She truly was my soul sister; her kindness and laughter were the best parts about her besides her beauty & that amazing smile. Sometimes we would be busting up about things at the Soliz House that did not even seem that funny to others, but her laughter made it contagious! I miss you my beautiful friend, I know you are always with us. Especially when we find something really funny.

I knew Kristen a long time ago. We were best friends for several years, then life happened.....

The other night I thought of her and realized I should try to reconnect with her. Its been so long, so much has happened. Would she be interested in reconnecting with me? So I did a basic search and Then I saw this....I'm in total shock. I am so incredibly sad for her family. I'm keeping this simple for many reasons because there aren't enough hours in the day to share the memories, pictures and stories I have of our friendship. I haven't seen her since 2000 and I am so sad I will never get the chance to see her now.

Hello Laura, first of all I am glad you found your way to this site. You did have a special friendship and I know how sad this must make you.  You know heartache. More importantly, I want you to know with all certainty, as we did, that Justin was absolutely with her during her time in the hospital and to the very end. She was mostly in the hospital from the beginning of January until she went to hospice on April 14th and passed on the 16th. One day maybe in February, I was cleaning my sewing room.  I came across Justin’s Memorial card with his senior picture, I believe, handsome boy that he was.  I had not seen that in over 20 years probably. I didn’t know I still had it. The VERY next day out of the blue Kristen said , “I think Justin is with me.  I think he’s watching out for me.” His face had appeared to her.  I just couldn’t believe the synchronicity of it. My first fear was he had come to take her home.  I told her I had just come across his picture the night before.  I asked if she wanted me to bring it to her. She said yes, and kept it with her over the next several months as she was moved from hospitals to rehabs, briefly to home and finally to the hospital then to hospice.  And she felt comforted by his presence. Truly.  And so did I.  And I hope that you do too now. You will also be happy to know that Kristen has the most loving and amazing husband and fantastic children.  Thank I remember your mom once said that Kristen was going to marry an exceptional man some day. Someone so perfect and special for her. She knew. I don’t know where things stand after all these years but please share these things with your mom.  I hope you are doing well and again I am glad you reached out. Love, Debbie
