I have not seen or talked to your mom /wife / sister / daughter, etc for quite some time, but I think about her all the time. Kristan and I were roommates and friends during college. Even though I am awful at keeping in touch with people, she has always been someone I think of. I had been hoping for a visit to the farm. I wanted to see her Therapy Farm, as well as to visit with my old friend. I have learned a hard lesson about putting things off.

I can share a few memories and hope they bring a smile :) I was with Kristan when she got Lenny the Turtle (I am going to assume you have all heard about him :) ) He lived in our apartment for 2 year...at first in a laundry basket. On one of the first days, I still remember seeing him attempting to climb out of the basket. The turtle, I kid you not, was stretched out spread eagle climbing the side of the basket! He eventually went into a glass aquarium where he uses to knock his shell on the glass to come out. She used to let him wonder around the apartment. He would get lost from time to time (in the closet, etc). One night he scared the daylights out of me as he came out from behind the toilet during a midnight bathroom trip :) I also remember Kristan (Mom, etc) liked the cute little triangles he bit out of the apples she gave him. I believe his full name was Lentil Green <3. I am an OT as well...I work in schools. Many of the students I work with have heard, and will continue to hear about Lenny.

I am also have first hand knowledge of the origins of SoSueMe's name ;)

Your mom, wife, sister, daughter, etc. is and will always be special to me and close in my thoughts. She once made me a set of 3 ceramic pigs which have sat in my kitchen since college. I think of her every time I see them (pretty much every day). I will continue to think of her, as well as all of you. I want you to know that won't ever change.

I hope my fond memories bring a moment of joy to you as they do for me. Love to you all, always. XO
