Kristan Marie Lanoue passed away on February 21, 2025, in Milton, Massachusetts, after a long illness. She was 54 years old. Born on December 23, 1970, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Kristan lived a life shaped by dedication and passion. She attended Abington High School and later earned her GED. Her love for animals guided her career. She worked at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in data entry before becoming an accounts payable manager at Roberts Animal Hospital. Her commitment to animal care led her to become a veterinary assistant and receptionist at Marshfield Animal Hospital, Taunton Animal Hospital, and South Hingham Veterinary Services. Through her work, Kristan had a meaningful impact on the lives of many pets and their owners. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in the sun and the sea, embracing life with enthusiasm and warmth.

Kristan is survived by her son, Logan Montgomery; her father, Richard Brolin, and grandson, Silas Fox Montgomery all of Cape Coral,  FL; her aunts, Karen Lanoue Lambrecht of Marshfield, Denise Lanoue of Brockton, and her uncle James  Lanoue of Weymouth and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her longtime partner Kurt Montgomery, her mother, Gail M. Lanoue; her Nana, Margaret T. Lanoue; her Papa, Henry "Whitey" E. Lanoue; her aunt, Delores Fucci; and her uncle, Vincent Baldasare.

A celebration of life service will be held at the 4th Cliff Pavilion in Scituate, MA, on Sunday, June 22nd, from noon to 4 p.m. The address is 348 Central Avenue Humarock, MA 02047. This is an outdoor event with a covered pavilion.

The celebration welcomes sharing , stories, memories, and cherished moments about Kristan.
