Koleta's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Koleta Jordan, who peacefully left this world on December 2, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on October 17, 1934, Koleta lived a full life charming everyone with her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family.
Koleta is survived by her devoted sons, Jerry and Richard Jordan. Her daughter-in-laws, Scheryl and Melinda her beloved granddaughter Lynsey Loya and grandsons Todd, Robert, and Cameron Jordan, Dorthy Bone sister Don Free brother along with eleven great grandchildren will fondly remember her warm presence. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Ira Jordan, and great granddaughter, Sydney Jordan Silva.
A memorial service in honor of Koleta will be held on January 16, 2026, at 1:00PM at the Church of Christ. Her family and friends are invited to attend, remember, grieve, and support each other as we celebrate her remarkable life.
Koleta had an affinity for the timeless tunes of Conway Twitty, often seen humming along to the melodies that filled her house with warmth. An avid viewer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, she enjoyed the thrill and romance that these shows brought to the small screen. A steadfast supporter of the Dodgers, Koleta cherished the exciting moments of the game, especially while watching Dodger ball games in the backyard at her son Jerry's house. Her favorite color, green, symbolized the vitality and zest she held for life.
Among the activities she enjoyed most was the challenge of a good word search. It was a simple pleasure that kept her mind sharp and offered her hours of engagement. Her favorite vacation spot, Pismo Beach, held a special place in her heart and was a continuous source of joy and serenity for her.
In remembering Koleta, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose love, kindness, and spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
