We are so saddened by the passing of Kirsten. The world is a little less bright without her sunny self. Sending all the love to her family during this difficult time.

I first knew Kirsten in the 1980s when a group of like-minded kindred spirits from all over the U.S. got together to develop the Earth Team, a volunteer program of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, in cooperation with local conservation districts and the Soil and Water Conservation Society. It was a magical experience, made more magical by Kirsten's presence. I lost touch with Kirsten over the years, but it warms my heart to see the love she had in her life. Kirsten, your spirit and joy for life live on in all of us who knew you. Hats off to you, Kirsten, for a life well-lived. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of deep loss.
