Background
Those who wish to honor Kirk's memory may support the Boston University Concussion Legacy Foundation. They are performing groundbreaking medical research to help create knowledge and awareness that will make sports safer for all athletes at all levels of play, as well as facilitating research that will generate treatment and eventually a cure for CTE. The Schlueter family donated Kirk's brain to this foundation. Donations can be made at the following website: https://www.bu.edu/cte/financial-support/
