Kirk's obituary
Kirk Moe, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, departed from this world on September 14, 2025. Born on January 29, 1964, he imbued love, warmth, and kindness in everyone's life he touched.
Kirk is survived by his devoted wife, Sherri Moe, whom he married in 2004; his dearly loved children, Josh Lasater, Michelle Carlson, and Jessica Lasater; his loving mother, Barbe Moe, and sister, Kirsten Bergum. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law, Ben Bergum and his nephews, Brady and Isak Bergum, and niece, Dahlia Bergum. His memories are also carried on by his adorable grandchildren, Finn (Elizabeth), Amelia, and Piper Carlson. Kirk was predeceased by his father, Robert Moe.
A graduate from University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1998, Kirk embarked his professional journey at American Spirit Graphics in 1999. In 2020, he became a part of Nahan, where he was well liked by his peers. Kirk achieved a personal accomplishment on July 11, 2012, when he marked his sober date, contributing to a healthy and fulfilling life of 13-years sobriety.
Kirk was an active attendee of the Grace Fellowship Church, where he practiced and enhanced his faith. He was passionate about his favorite sports team, The Minnesota Vikings, and enjoyed spending some family time at a favorite local spot, Pizza Ranch. His favorite books included The Bible and The Big Blue Book, which were a testament to his faith and his journey towards self-improvement.
His love for his family was paramount, portrayed by his unending devotion and care. His warm, kind, and loving personality will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family, an epitome of his life's values.
Kirk Moe, an individual of love and faith, shall live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones, his life will continue to inspire and guide us. His greatest accomplishment, apart from his career, was his loving family, who will surely carry forward his values.
