I had the great pleasure of knowing Kirby from 1988, shortly after starting my Biotech business. from the get go, his friendliness, positive attitude, and great sense of humor were front and center. I will miss him but I know whenever I think of him, I'll be smiling. Thanks Kirby.

I've been friends with Kirby ever since the Bio Genex days. He always had a great sense of humor, always had me laughing. So, so many fun memories ... a kind and wonderful friend. He held his wife, family and friends close to his heart always. He never forgot my birthday and reached out to me every year even thru his illness to catch up and wish me a happy birthday.  Kirby, was one of my dearest friends; gone too soon  and I will never forget him...Kristine

I have been a close friend of Kirb for the past 30 years. He was always a proud, unpretentious man whose compass was always true north. Family always came first, that’s what made him happy. I grew up and graduated high school with Kirby. I’m so thankful for the memories that make me smile and can even get me to burst out laughing. We had so many good times. Thank you for that Kirby, you were a good friend to me and a lot of others…..Huck 

Kirby was a great friend of mine, who I reconnected with about 10 years out of high school when he realized through another of our mutual friends, that I lived just one city away from him in the East Bay, California.  He was a tremendous source of laughter when we would get together, his dry humor was the same as mine and we always had a great time.  We would ride BART over to SF for Giants games when he lived in Pleasant Hill and when he moved to Rocklin, Ca we went to a couple of Sacramento River Cats games in West Sacramento.  I know that he worked so very hard in everything he did, he was very driven, but he did know when to kick his feet up, he will be missed beyond words.  I am very sad to hear of his passing.................JL.

As a close friend of Kirby, I can tell you all just how sad this is to lose him! He was a really special person to his wife, family and everyone he connected with including me.

I worked with him at BiosPacific for 15 years- and I believe work should be challenging, rewarding and fun- but I could never imagine the level of fun Kirby created at our company.  The way he connected with all of us and created so many unforgettable experiences was just amazing. Whether it was in the office, on a sales call or at a meeting, his positive attitude and great sense of humor stayed with me for a long time.

He was just the best!

Rosana, My family, Einar and I have kept you in our daily prayers.  May God give you strength and may his mercy allow to continue to move forward with a joyful life.  Kirby was a kind, honorable and giving gentleman. We loved him even more because he made you happy.  We have missed his presence the last few years and now even moreso.
