Ashvin, Bharti, Nirav, Vishal & Natasha———-Gitaben ,

We are deeply grieved by the demise of Kiranbhai. The feelings are ineffable and words are inadequate to express the sorrow and loss for those loved one he left behind. Kiranbhai was a kind and loving human being with strong belief in God.

Bhagwan Sri Krishna have said in Bhagvat Gita; नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः । न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः ॥ No weapon can destroy the soul, nor can it be burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind. His deeply pious soul left our material world to live in eternal peace with his beloved Sri Nath Ji.

We pray his soul rest in peace and Sri Nath Ji render you the courage and fortitude to bear his loss.
Gita Masi,
We were saddened to hear about Mass.
He was a very kind person.
Our Thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
My mom Vilasben sends her love.
JSK- Today is a day that nobody would have imagined would have come so quickly. We come together to celebrate and remember the life of my Masa....let me rephrase he was everyone’s Masa. Masa was a very principled and dedicated man. He never asked for help, but was always first in line to give it. He was the same with every person he knew regardless of age or relationship.

Today as we gather and circumstances only allow a few of us to be here, it isn’t a disservice to him. Actually we are doing exactly what Masa would have wanted. He always followed the rules, never took a shortcut and always wanted everyone to be healthy and happy. In his honor we will celebrate his life at a later date with all friends, family, songs and food.

He was very passionate about music, movies, technology and home decor....but it was stuff he did for himself and it kept him happy. He had a routine like none other. The days he ironed clothes would be the same. The day he cleaned the house would be the same. The time he went for his daily summer walk would be the same. The route he took, the gas station where he would buy a lottery ticket and use the bathroom was always the same. The time of day he would wake up, pray, drink his morning tea and afternoon tea was always the same.

When he came from India Masa was the one person that everyone feared. I was really young at the time, but we knew that we had to be on pins and needles around him. We were all afraid to get yelled at by him. The astounding thing about Masa is the complete 180 he did throughout his life. He was still the same disciplined man who would never deviate from his routine, but he changed. He was softer, funnier and more gentle. Gita Auntie recently told me that he would always tell her that he was able to change so she can do the same. She told me that he would always tell her that life is going to be hard for one of them when the other one passes away.

I am here to tell Gita Auntie that he was right that it is going to be hard without him, but the amount of support and love you have from everyone is going to get you through it. The strength that Masa showed the last few months was incredible and not once did he ever complain, was depressed or ask why me?

Gita Auntie wanted me to thank everyone for everything they have done for Masa the last few months. The visits, calls and messages from family and friends was truly appreciated. She also wanted to say a special thanks to Arvind uncle, Dilip uncle and Upendra uncle for all their help throughout the process. Also, thanks to the staffs at NorthShore Oncology, Alexian Brothers, Holy Family and all the doctors offices that Masa visited during the last few months.

Finally, in life and death Masa showed strength that hopefully we can all have ongoing. In fact, that is what we can all do to honor him memory for rest of each of our lives.

Masa I love you forever. We all love you forever and I promise that Gita Auntie will always be taken care of with the same love and affection you have taken care of all of us.

-Akash
Masa - I am unable to be there today for your services but you are my second Dad . You are the most principled and structured person that I have ever met . No matter what , you never let anything come in between your Faith in God or to help someone in need . You were the first man I had encountered in my life with deep religious views. You have left us today at a point of no return . We don’t know how to move on without you and our family lost the pillar of strength . Even in the pain you endured for the past three months you would still ask about how I was doing when we would chat . I’ll never forget that . My promise to you today is I’ll take care of Gita auntie forever and try to live my life in a way to make you proud . My heart is broken and I’m shaken to my inner core . May you forever be free In heaven with your two most favorite people, Kala Ba and Bhaktiben .. please continue to bless us from above and we will continue to spread your message of community service and Faith in our God . Jai Shri Krishna Masa .. I will always love you ..
