I don't know how to begin to express how it feels to lose my best friend that I've had since 7th grade. I'm heartbroken to say the least. I had just spoken with Kim, aka, Emily Chops, (clearly a childhood nickname) right before her birthday. We were making plans to get together, this week, so writing this message is extremely hurtful as we were both looking forward to our visit and giving each other a very long overdo hug. Kim & I didn't see each other regularly, but when we did, it was a great visit. We kept in touch for over 40 years, which attests to how strong our friendship was. We shared our ups and downs, the good, and the bad. We knew we could always be open and honest with each other without judgement and we knew we could always count on each other to bring the other up, or at the very least, make each other laugh. I'm grateful that I had her in my life. She was definitely one of a kind. She was wise beyond her years, very insightful, always kept it real, and funny beyond belief. She left too soon, and most days it’s too much to think about, but as life goes on, I’ll cherish the wonderful memories we shared together. She'll forever be my best friend and in my heart.

It would take some time to tell of the history Kimba and I share. It will also take some time for me to be prepared to tell the story, The one picture I have will be sought so that I can share it.

When I think of Kim, I immediately think of her laugh. Her laugh and her smile. :) both were highly contagious. She had such a witty sense of humor. She could hold one of the best conversations also. My heart breaks for her entirely family, especially her children. Thinking of all you at this time.

The food fight in the sunroom on peacock avenue. Carter jake Aleah and I (Mandy), kim just laughed. Of course made us clean it up. But she understood how much we all needed to be ourselves and free sprits. I never even realized until lately how much I took from her parenting style when it come to raising Tyler. There are so so so many memories. Sitting outside at Abbe’s by the old pool joking about stupid things. Aunt Kim will be greatly missed and will always be remembered threw us. The way we raise our children, the way we threat each other, and the way we want to remember her within ourselves. I love you guys and if you need anything I am always here.
