Hey big sis ❤️ I’m missing you, things won’t be the same no more this is a very tough pill to swallow. You inspire me to continue to chase my entrepreneur goals and dreams. You was the sister that would tell it like it is no cut cards and you wanted to see me do better even if what you said made me upset at the time. We also had plenty of memories from when I was just a kid to me being grown. amusement parks, gathering at the house for holidays, going out to eat, etc. you was always the life of the party. It wasn’t lit if Kim wasn’t there lol. This isn’t a goodbye but until next time sis I love you forever.
Your Brother, Kalvin

My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Connie and her family. I used to work with Kim at the Fort Meade Commissary and again at the United States Coast Guard. Kim was such a beautiful person inside and out. We shared many laughs together. Her smile and charisma would light up the room. Im going to miss her.

Kim has always been an awesome spirit. I met her when I came to Maryland and placed my son in her child care facility; my son loved her since day one and called it his second home. Kim was Aunt Kim to him and your transition really hurt us both, Kameron said mom Aunt Kim is one of his angels now and I know that she is ok. Kim we will love you forever. Ms. Connie, we love you very much and don’t forget God will comfort you through this.

Condolences to the family. I had known Kim through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program when I matched her with a Little Sister. She did an outstanding service working with the young girl. May she rest easy

My condolences to Kimberly's family. I first met Kim (a.k.a. “Boss”) during our recent trip to Argentina. We had a wonderful time traveling and I loved learning from Kim about her businesses. Her smile will forever be engraved in my heart. Sending all of my love to Kim’s family.

I met Kimberly through an employment opportunity, and we immediately clicked. Even though she was my boss it felt like I knew her forever. She became like a big sister to me, anything I needed she made sure that it got done. One of the most selfless and loving people I ever met. Between the dancing, and the laughter it was always a good time. Watching her grow as a business owner was so inspirational to me and I will forever hold our conversations and times we spent together in my heart. I will miss our weekly group chats talking about life and the check ups we did with each other to see how we were doing! Until we meet again friend!

Kim was an exceptional individual—a genuine, down-to-earth, honest, straightforward, humorous, clever, driven, and compassionate soul. Her passing has deeply affected us. The only solace we find is in knowing that God is overseeing everything and that she fulfilled her purpose here. We will miss our time with her! Kim, Thank you for your partnership. We will miss you!

I used to pass out really soft themed t-shirts for my clients to wear as they were walking around events. I'll never forget Kim telling me about another insurance agent that was present in Vegas seeing her in one of my shirts trying to persuade her to give them a chance to quote her. She told them she wasn't interested and was actually only in the vendor hall, because she was looking for me. They kept on trying to sell her and she was not having it! She straight up told them that she has the best insurance agent already and she ain't looking for a new one and they are wasting their breath even trying. She finally got a "ok have a good day" from them when they got the picture. Most people will just shake their head and give a smirky smile to show they're not interested. Not Kim though. She was VOCAL! The last picture I uploaded was taken while she was telling me this story! I completely forgot I had it until I was looking for pictures of her.
That same event I had a referral contest for clients where for each new person they introduced me to that was not already one of my clients, I had mini shot-sized bottles of liquor they could pick from and so could the person they brought to meet me. Kim brought me 8 people! She was literally walking around asking everyone if they knew who I was. She ended up winning the contest and also winning our Tiffany's gift set which she was super excited about!
