Kevyn's obituary

Kevyn, fearfully and wonderfully made, has made it to his eternal home with his heavenly Father.

“I will give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”  - John 10:28

Kevyn’s family is eternally grateful that at age 14, Kevyn accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He believed that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day and by the power of His blood, everyone is given the same chance for eternal salvation.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16

Our past does not have to define who we are now. By sharing his own experiences, Kevyn was able to show compassion, mercy, grace and unconditional love for those who needed their own redemption.

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these brothers, you did it to Me.” - Matthew 25:40

If you were blessed to know Kevyn, “the G” you would see him watching the WWE, Seinfeld, Tommy Boy, or on his way to a taco truck for his favorite torta. But if you really knew Kevyn, you would find him bumping his music, playing his favorite, Tupac, as loud as it would go, telling his old “G’s”; Bobby Campbell and Ernie Esquivel to “picture me rolling”.

“Though things change, we must always remember that tomorrow comes after dark, so you will always be in my heart with unconditional love”.

For those Kevyn loved most, he lives on through his son, Sebastian, mom, Shelley,  brother Isaak, sisters Lindsay and Taylor, 2 beautiful nieces and 2 handsome nephews. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

To give meaning to Kevyn’s life, we hope that you find Jesus, read the Bible, give and receive forgiveness, hug your family, take a long walk, listen to your favorite music, learn about Epilepsy, and always remember Kevyn with love and that time is the one thing you can never get back.

Did he see You from a long way off, running to him with a Father’s heart? Did you wrap him up inside Your arms and let him know that he is Home?

But while he was still a long way off, His Father saw him and was filled with compassion for him. He ran to His son, threw His arms around him and kissed him.” - Luke 15:20
