The song “shotgun” by George Ezra never fails to remind me of Kev. He got back from France and played that nonstop. Such a happy, upbeat song and it makes me smile. “I’ll be riding shotgun underneath the hot sun feeling like a someone”

Dear Kevin,

Since the day I found out about your passing, I have more than once "heard" your voice talk to me. It is usually a light-hearted "let's go!" type of voice in enthusiastic and kind tones.

I received the sad news about you while I was up hiking with Casey at one of our favorite spots. You would have liked it there too.

There was some kind of connection and understanding we had, even though we didn't see each other very often. I was so impressed with your can-do spirit and fun personality. Your grandma and I were just talking about seeing if you'd be able to go on a vacation with us.

I was impressed with how you hit a baseball at such a young age. I was impressed with your spirit at all ages. I cherish the memories we have and wish there were more--in the past and future.

Times with you were adventurous and special. Those fortunate enough to know you I think you had the ability to make them feel special. I can't be the only one.

Kevin Walter Yenne words will never be able to be put together for how much love I had for you! You helped me grow my business, worked harder than anyone else I had the chance to work with, made me smile, laugh and realize that I needed to spend more time in nature.

Kevin Walter Yenne. We all love and miss you so much. We are trying to keep on keeping on & be strong like we know you’d want us to. It’s so hard. You are so important. You will continue to be a part of all of our lives and your legacy will live on.

Kevin’s smile in this. That is all. ❤️ I thought he looked just as handsome even before his braces. Man, when he got his braces off I think I cried, he looked 10 years older and like an adult.
Kevin taught me unconditional love and support, as well as to enjoy life and enjoy the little things in life. Each and every gift that someone gave him he would cherish and thank over again, he taught me to value little things that spark joy. From putting flags on his car for the Fourth of July season, to putting up bird houses for birds, he shared his positivity and joy with people he loved. Life is too short to be negative about things, and Kev helped me realize that.
