Kevin had a beta fish in 1st or 2nd grade when he was younger that he cared for and loved. One day it passed away and Kev was absolutely devastated. He planned a goodbye ceremony in our bathroom to flush it down the toilet, but not before writing a goodbye letter to his fish and reading it aloud while sobbing hard before flushing his buddy. My mom and I were trying SO hard not to laugh. He snapped at us when he caught one of us smiling. One of my favorite stories of Kev. Always so caring.
