I will always miss hearing Mick talk.  His Bostonian accent made me smile!  His daughter and our daughter  were friends!  We knew Mick and Karen for years.
Karen , As you can see from the condolences , Mick was one of the most BELOVED members of the class of 75 and beyond . I too worked briefly with Mick at Bethlehem Steel .He will ALWAYS be remembered as one of the BEST to walk this earth !
Karen and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mick was a great friend at Kings Point. He helped me get through some tough times. We used to go out on weekends as a team and tackle odd jobs together mowing lawns and raking leaves to scrape up some money to spend at Workingmans Pub. You guys were an awesome couple in the yearbook. He was the best.

So sorry for your loss. May the wonderful memories help you get through this sad time. It was a pleasure working with Kevin on the SS Wright in Baltimore.

This is probably my favorite picture with Mickey - two very happy men talking about and watching their children (and his grandchildren) celebrating life and love. How I miss my Family-time Buddy.
Over these past few weeks we have been recalling our memories of Mick. Such fun times we enjoyed. The first time Mike and Mick met was when Mick started to grill out back. He must have stepped into the house for a moment. Mike looked out our back door and the grill was on fire! Mike ran across the back yard to get Mick's attention. That is how we met! Oh, and the fire was quickly tended to!
Karen, Lauren and Meghan,
We are so sorry for the loss of Uncle Mick. What a beautiful slideshow and story of such a wonderful life. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and that we wish we could pay proper tribute in person. Until we are able to see each other again safely, take care.

Love,

Mary & Nick Wons
We worked together for over 30 years at Beth Steel and after. I will truly miss him and miss the times we had.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend "Kevin". We worked together for many years at the Shipyard. You could not ask for a nicer person.
Karen, Lauren & Meghan--The Kolmer family is so sorry for your loss. Mick was definitely one of the good guys, always smiling and ready with a good story. And, along with you, Karen, the perfect hosts. We'll all remember Mick, and we'll all smile.

In response to "What made Mick different from most people you know?"
Karen - I am so very sorry for your loss. Mickey was just the nicest guy and I remember so well when the two of you started dating in high school. He was always such a kind person and from what is written here, he clearly remained that very good soul throughout his life. My thoughts and prayers to all of you. ~ Joan Wright
I am so sorry for your loss, and have you girls in my heart. I love that Lauren and Meghan are living reminders of everything Mr. Mick stood for and that your 3 little ones will turn out to be great people from everything he taught you!
Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident. It’s not a matter of circumstances but of choice. Mick was a man that made the right choices and I will miss his ever present smile and friendship.
Karen, Lauren and Meaghan, I am sorry for your loss. ❤️
What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. He was always positive and he did enjoy life. I so enjoyed his accent and always wondered where was Karen’s accent. We have been friends for many years and I truly will miss him in my heart! We are so thinking of you Karen and the girls and the rest of your family who loved Mick!
What a beautiful tribute. A life well lived and amazing memories that will last a lifetime. He was a kind and lovely man, which shows in the family that he has surrounded himself with. We are sorry for your loss. View these pictures often to find comfort in the life you shared with this wonderful man.
