I didn't get the chance to know him for very long, but the time I had with him was definitely memorable, and has already impacted my life greatly.
I remember that when Tyler and I were waiting for him to arrive from his flight, he was so worried that he wouldn't get his baked spaghetti upon arrival, that he would ask me up to 5 times a day, for 3 days, if it was going to be there when he arrived. (Rest assured, he had it the very same night)
I loved him with all my heart, and just as he saw me as his own daughter, I saw him as my dad. We didn't get to talk much in person, but that gave me the opportunity to keep every word he's said on my phone.
He was an amazing person, and an amazing father. I wish we could have done more together, but I'm happy that I got to make the memories that I have with him.
I'm glad he's not in pain anymore, and wherever he may be, he's probably walking all over the place seeing all the colors, and having all the baked spaghetti in the world.
