Kevin's obituary

Kevin Ramos, born December 19, 1999 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, passed away on December 5, 2025, at Rush Hospital in Chicago after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He was 25.

Kevin was the beloved son of Jose A. Ramos and Monserrate Mercado, and the proud brother of Nashaly Ramos. From the day he arrived, Kevin brought light, energy, and a stubborn kind of joy that never dulled, even in the hardest chapters of his life.

He loved music—especially anything by Bad Bunny—and he always had it playing loud enough to turn an ordinary moment into something memorable. Kevin also loved eating, laughing, and simply being with the people he cared about. He was the kind of person who could make everyone around him smile, no matter the mood, no matter the situation. That’s what people will remember: his warmth, his humor, and the way he made every room feel lighter just by walking into it.

Kevin leaves behind his parents Jose A Ramos and Monserrate Mercado Velez, his sister Nashaly (Jose Powers) Ramos, and a large circle of relatives and friends who adored him and will carry his memory forward with love.

Funeral Services will be held on December 27, 2025 at 20642 Matteson Ave, Matteson il 60443 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to AquaGreen Dispositions, 708-606-0211
