So sorry to learn of Kevin’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of hanging out at the Pettit house on Fernwood Cr.  Deepest sympathies to all the family.

Many fond memories growing up next door to Kevin on Fernwood. He was almost like a big big brother. A fantastic hockey player.

I didn't get the chance to make Mexico memories with Kevy, but his stories made it abundantly clear that he was in his chosen place. Water, blue skies and miles of sandy beaches to walk put him in his heaven. Given his new nickname, 24-7 Kevin, it seems to me he was in his heaven long before he left us behind.

A brother is someone you stay young with no matter how many years have passed. The real time that we shared is even more real now than when we lived it because it is all we have. Do what you want, when you want, for as long as you want, my brother from another mother! Love you brother! Big 5

My sincere condolences to the Pettit family. My family go way back with the Pettit's as Ken and Lillian at one time were neighbors with my grandparents. I too couldn't wait to see if Kevin would join our ball hockey games on Fernwood Cr. Rest in peace Kevin.

My condolences to Kevin's family. I first met Kevin when we both played baseball and hockey together growing up on Hamilton mountain. I spent many a days at his house playing sports but we lost touch once he went to Cornell University & I moved to Brantford to play hockey. A great friend who nicknamed me " 1 Shot". May He Rest in Peace.

Spent many hours with Juice while he tarbended at the Windsor and played catcher for the Dukes.  He was always incredibly entertaining with his wicked wit and humour. He loved to laugh and make people laugh.

Juice was a great golfer and one day he up and quit the game. I asked him why and he said "Hippy, I parred the track.  I reached perfection. Nowhere else to go so I hung up the clubs." I could never understand that logic but I think it had more to do with the DC course adopting a dress code and he couldn't wear his sweats and tank top.   HAHAHA

Last fall I heard Juice picked up the game again and I was so looking forward to playing a round with him next time I was up in Dodge. Unfortunately that round will have to wait.

My sincerest condolences to Kel......I can't remember why he called Cathy "Kel",  and the rest of Kevin's family.

The world lost a good one. The Ti-Cats lost a huge fan!

Marlon and Jennifer, my deepest sympathies to you and all of your family in the loss of your brother Kevin. You are in my thoughts and prayers
Kevin was one of our regulars when I lifeguarded at the Centennial Swimming Pool. I loved visiting with him both at the pool and anywhere downtown. He was one of the few guys from the 'old' pool who became a regular at the 'new' pool and it was there that my daughter became his lifeguard! We will both miss him, sorry for your loss.
Cathy, My sincere & deepest sympathies in the loss of your Beloved Kevin, your Husband & Best Friend ❤️ & Partner in life’s journey.  I hope all the wonderful memories you made together, will comfort your heart & mind through these devastating days.  I’m sure that the special memories you made & shared together in his Happy Place in Mexico will give you added strength.  You are constantly in my thoughts & heart with love & caring at this difficult time.  And my deepest condolences to Kevin’s loving family as well.

Kevin was one of the kindest men I have known.  He was interested in learning about the world and shared stories like no one else.  His humor was wicked and I have a hard time imagining life without him. Love ❤️ from his California family.

In February of 2022,  we were able to reconnect with Kevin and Cathy in Guayabitos Mexico. It was the same old Kevin that Marlon had introduced me to back in the mid seventies. Soft spoken, wickedly funny, extremely engaging. Just a real good guy. Forever an east mountain boy and loyal Tiger Cat fan. So glad we got to spend a couple of days together, share a few drinks and laugh again. Kevin was one of a kind. Condolences to Cathy, Marlon and Jen, and the whole Pettit family.

Dear Cath, This is such sad news about Kevin. You must be shocked and devastated. I am holding you both in my thoughts and prayers right now. Lots of Love to you.
Kathy words do not come easy at this time.  Keep close all of those great memories.  They sure do help during sad times.  Kevin was always so interested in his surroundings.  Big hugs♥️Tom and Marilyn Gannon
