Wow -- I hated to see this.

Kevin worked with me and the USSSA umpires in the St. Charles County area. He called a great game and was an excellent man to work with.

I lost track of Kevin during the 2020 Covid year with his close-to-death battle of his own with Covid. He resurfaced in 2024 and umpired 85 games in 2024 and did 1,890 games from 2009 - 2021 - took off two years and did games in 2024.

I lost track of Kevin again this year as the season started and tried to track him down. I finally just saw this news and hated to see it.

Condolences to his family and may Kevin fly high in heaven calling balls/strikes and outs!

He will be MISSED!
