I feel fortunate to have been part of a group of friends who rallied around Kevin for the last couple of years. He generously offered love and service until his last day. He was steadfast, honest, and true. I feel truly blessed to be considered as a friend. He concluded every gathering with, “I love you”. Kevin, l love you, brother.

My family and I have  lived in VA for nearly 3 decades, and this was taken at my first Yankee game at the “new” stadium since we moved. I was so excited, just like a little kid! We had barely arrived when a torrential rain blew thru. Luckily it cleared fairly quickly, and we were treated to this beautiful rainbow. It made me think of my very first trip to the old stadium. Our late brother, Joe, treated me and Kevin to a game back in the early ‘70’s. I would’ve been around 7, Kevin, maybe 12 or 13. It had poured rain all morning, but we took our chances and left for the 1:00 game. It rained the whole way, and for a good half hour after we arrived, but the skies eventually cleared and the game was played. It is hands down, one of the happiest memories from my childhood. I’ll never forget Kevin telling me on the ride, “you won’t believe how green the grass is, Anne!” Oh, the anticipation! Then explaining how to read the scoreboard, and so many other aspects of the game to me once we got there. How special! We didn’t get a rainbow that day, but this one was for you I think, Kevin. You and Joe! Give him a hug for me. I am so blessed to have had you both in my life.💙💙

I miss you dearly. You've been by my side for all of life's BIG moments and the little ones too. You've been an unequivocal supporter of everything I do, while always finding a kind way to pass along wisdom and sound advice. You were a wonderful role model. I adored watching you be the best "Poppy" to your grandchildren--one who didn't let them get away with too much, but just enough.

With the diagnosis of a fatal disease, this day was bound to come, but it doesn't make it any easier to accept unfortunately. You will be forever missed until we meet again. I love you.
