Kevin's obituary

Kevin Douglas Jeter, 65 years old, born to Helen and Harold Jeter March 14th 1956, in Wayne MI. As a young man he moved to Southern CA. He met Annette Hintz, the love of his life, in 1988. Kevin and Annette spent 31 years in their home in Stanton. They built their life together, and raised Annette's daughter, Kristin.  Kevin was a loving partner, loyal friend, devoted dad, and proud grandparent. Kevin spent the last two decades as a professional truck driver for "Upstaging". He hauled sound, lighting, and stage equipment across the United States. He traveled across the country to countless venues, for major headliners. He has been "a jack of many trades" including: carpenter, licensed barber, and mechanic.
When Kevin was not on tour, rocking and rolling, he enjoyed yearly road trips with Annette to Colorado to see, family & the grandchildren. They often stopped along the Colorado River to enjoy the scenery. After the passing of his soul mate, Annette, he returned to his childhood home in Michigan each year for several months. He was able to spend some quality time with his mother and sister. But recently after his mom passed away, he returned to Stanton where he spent the last days of his life, close to the home he and Annette shared together. Kevin is survived by step-daughter Kristin (Cole) Horne. Three Grandchildren Allison, Katelyn and Evan. Sisters Michelle (Ken) Jeter-Krasnikoff, Valorie (Glen) Lundgren, Tara Berro. Nieces, Christy (Heather) Lundgren, Jessica Lundgren, Nephews Justin (Melissa) and Jarrett (Jacquleyn)

Kevin was proceeded in death by his partner Annette Hintz, Mother and Father Helen and Harold Jeter. Sister JayAnn. Grandparents Claude & Vera Christy, Cletis & Ova Jeter,
A private celebration of life will be held by Kevin's family, but is delayed due to Covid Global Pandemic.
