Kevin's obituary
Kevin DeRonald Williams departed this life on July 20, 2025. Born on March 6, 1962, in Gary, Indiana, Kevin was a gifted athlete and musician, known affectionately as "Crazy Legs." He excelled in football, basketball, track, and golf, and played the cornet for the mighty Tolleston Marching Band and graduated from Gary Roosevelt High School in 1980. He attended Kentucky State University and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, including a distinguished period stationed in England.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Elvenor Perry, loving aunts Joyce Shirley and Bobbie Williams, grandparents, Bessie and Oscar Adams, Randolph and Verlene Williams, and uncles, Eugene Crawford Jr., Henry Phillips, Curtis Williams, and Jesse Williams.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elvenor Adams; his father, Randolph (Cherry) Williams Jr. and; his devoted life partner, Arva Hart, with whom he shared many special bonus children and grandchildren; and his siblings Lori K. Sloan, Lisa (Lamont) Bankston, Kyle Adams, Pamela (Henry) Brown, Karna Chea, and Randolph (Catherine) Williams III. He also leaves behind a special aunt, Zassania Crawford, along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and cherished friends.
Kevin's memory will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved him.
