Kevin's obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Kevin Brown, born on March 11, 1980, and passed away on March 8, 2026. Kevin graduated from Godley High School in 1998 and, with unwavering dedication and commitment, later graduated from Rich Mountain Community College in 2013. A wholesome spirit, he was an attendee at First United Methodist Church and a dedicated volunteer at the Wichita Falls Faith Mission.
Those surviving Kevin include his grandson, Braylon Pruitt; his granddaughters, Briellah Pruitt, Willow Pruitt, and Eva Pruitt; his daughter, Sarah Pruitt; and his son, Kevin Hood. Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Brown. His family was his world, and he was blessed with the joy of becoming a grandparent four times, a cherished role he embraced with open arms on August 11, 2021, January 30, 2023, and twice on March 6, 2024.
Kevin was vibrant and loving, always smiling, eager to lend a helping hand, and full of life. His personality was a beautiful blend of being stubborn, caring, protective, and loving. Kevin had an infectious love for Pizza, Cabbage, and Pecan Pie, coupled with a love for Dr. Pepper. He was a fervent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed playing Monopoly Go, and loved the songs "Boys Around Here" and "She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy".
Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends, going on walks, and volunteering at the church. He strongly believed in the mantra "Treat people the way you want to be treated. Karma will get you." His life was a testament to this belief, reflected in the love and respect he earned from all who knew him.
In 2017, Kevin moved to Wichita Falls, TX, a place he was proud to call home. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the community he served and the lives of those he touched.
Kevin Brown's legacy of love, kindness, and tenacity will forever be remembered by his loved ones and friends. He will be truly missed.
