I always remember Kevin on June 1st! What a great dude.
Kevin always took time to speak and engage in friendly conversation. He was so kind to my granddaughters! I miss my neighbor Kevin! and I miss Cooper and seeing Sean.😢 I wish there was a way to stay in contact with Kathy and the boys.
Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts!

When I first met Kevin I didn’t know what to expect. I had already met Gene and knew how frank and straight forward he could be. As I got out of the car next to this man, who at first seemed like a giant, there was a little apprehension. That lasted about a second. From the moment he greeted me he made me feel like family. And that feeling never stopped. Kevin made me feel like we’d been family all of our lives. That’s what I’ll remember and cherish most about him. His love and friendship that always seemed to shine through. His sense of humor and good natured wit was always on it seemed. There was never a question as to how much he loved his family and special people in his life. And that was his gift . He had a way of making everyone feel special and to him everyone was.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin at the City of Bloomington. He was such a kind and patient man. He was never too busy to help and answer questions. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Years ago Kevin and I were parters in the Andrew Golf League, we never won many matches but we had a heck of a good time. Hopefully someday we will play again.

Usual weekend ride - hotter than usual - but Kevin's still smiling 30 miles in. We were all struggling but he just kept smiling and encouraging us to keep going. Miss those rides. Rest well Kevin. Miss you.

So sorry to hear of his tragic passing. We were neighbors on Baywood and we would regularly chat while walking our dogs. He was always passionate about whatever the subject was that day, great guy!!

The sense of loss with Kevin’…
The sense of loss with Kevin’s passing is immense. We are shocked and saddened and still trying to come to terms with the suddenness and finality of such a tragic loss. We were lucky enough to share a wall with Kevin, Kathy and the boys for a good number of years in Suzhou, China and over this time became very close, spending almost all of our spare time in and out of each other’s homes. From our Friday night card games, bike rides around Suzhou, Dragon Boat racing, eating meat on a stick from street stalls at 2.00am, impromptu karaoke and celebrating quite a few birthdays our families become very close in only a way that genuine friends can, and we remain so to this very day. There are few people you meet that you can genuinely call a friend for life - Kevin was that to me and to my family. It was only a few days before Kevin’s accident that we shared one of our regular text messages, usually discussing movies, politics or sport. Always random and getting a text at all hours from Kevin was not uncommon. He always made me laugh with his humour. In these sad times, our thoughts are with those closest to Kevin - to his family and friends - and in particular with Kathy, Sean and Ryan. He loved his boys and would regularly tell me how proud he was of them and the young men they have become. He was simply a great guy to be around, a great mate of mine and I know our family will miss him forever. Rest in peace Kevin. We love you.

I worked with Kevin at the City of Bloomington. He was always there to help and would never miss an opportunity to make you laugh (especially when you really needed one). I'm also pretty sure I've never met somebody with his knowledge of music and movies, Kevin was an encyclopedia! Our Chicago Bears/Cubs and IU sports conversations were always the best, we had so much fun. Prayers of peace and comfort for your family, he is really missed.
Wow, so much sadness. I worked with Kevin also at the City of Bloomington. He was a great friend, a great work ethic, and what a sense of humor! We were a part of a text group and he loved to make people laugh. He was the KING of YouTube!!! He will be so missed, prayers for comfort for your family!
Kevin was my work brother and I will miss him always. IU and Chicago Sports events will never be the same! My sincere condolences to all. Heaven just got a great one back!
