So very sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. We knew Kevin and Mary thru hockey with their son Bobby. May he rest in peace.

My heart aches for the Cahill family. I’ve always admired the incredible things Mr. Kevin accomplished in his life. I had the privilege of knowing him for quite some time, even if we didn’t always chat directly. He always made sure to stay in touch and know how I was doing as a person and how my life was progressing. I’m so grateful that my dad met not only such a remarkable man but also a wonderful friend. He got to spend a lot of quality time with Mr. Kevin, and I cherish those memories. As a Gauthier, I want to express my deepest gratitude for treating us so exceptionally. Sending my love and support to the Cahill family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Mr. Kevin.

We were very shocked and saddened when we heard the news of Kevin's passing.
I know we never got to know him all that well, but it wasn’t hard to see and admire his values and unwavering dedication towards his family and those closest to him.
Simple words can’t heal the pain he leaves behind, but knowing he was a part of so many lives and memories over the years, he leaves behind such a beautiful legacy and incredible family. He must have been so proud of all his children and all his grandchildren. May he live on in perfect memories.

Mr. Kevin had a heart of gold, he was such a giving man, always thinking about everyone other than himself. Mr. Kevin has known me since the day I was born and since then he’s kept tabs on all of my endeavors, celebrating every accomplishment alongside my family. He has done so much for us over the years and there are no words to express our eternal gratitude. We were so incredibly lucky to know him, and he will be missed by so many. Sending all my love and sincerest condolences to the Cahill family.

To the Cahill family, to which I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences. Your husband, dad, uncle, and grandpa was a very giving, kind, considerate, generous, loving man who will be missed greatly. I was very lucky to have been an employee of his for 25 years. I learned a lot from him and am very proud to have been his administrative assistant. I will always be appreciative and happy for all that he did for me throughout the years. RIP Kevin, love ya♥️

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the entire Cahill family. I have had the privilege of working for Kevin for the last 37 years. I have known him most of my life, which has been a gift. I spoke with him either in person or by phone everyday during the week for the last 30 plus years. I will miss him dearly. There will never be another Kevin Cahill. I learned so much from him about business, and most importantly, about family and life. He was the most selfless person I have ever met. Everyday his goal was to make someone else’s life better or a little easier and he expected nothing in return. Kevin definitely left this world a better place than how he found it. No words can express how grateful I am for everything Kevin has done for me and my family. Rest in peace my friend.

One of my favorite stories about Kevin is when he had an operation on his knee,he was in a Manhattan hospital and a few of us went to visit. Well Kevin was not very good with following rules or authority figures,we basically busted him out of the hospital with a big German nurse chasing us,and Kevin laughing that laugh of his !!!! Crazy stuff we did !!!

This is very sad for me,I grew up with Kevin, when he moved to Michigan I didn't see him all that much and I feel bad about that.We had some great times from the school yard playing every sport we could. His mom used to drive us to swim practice. To the wild times in the Hamptons,so many great memories!!Rest in peace,he will be missed !!

There are too many memories with Kevin that you can’t just pick one…when we were hanging out at Forest Park and the Attic Bar, Summers at the Riverhead House, swimming/boating in the Long Island Sound or at South Jamesport in the Peconic Bay, dinners at The Rendezvous Room, New Year’s Eve in Manhattan, Weddings, Splish Splash Water Park with our kids when they were young, coming to visit us in New York and us visiting Kevin and Mary in Michigan. So many memories are going through my head as I right this. Kevin you were one of a kind. A most generous person to those who personally knew you and even to those that did not. You will surely be missed and so will that laugh of yours. I can still hear your laugh in my head and at the moment it’s making me smile and cry at the same time. Rest easy my friend, until we meet again. Mary, Bobby, Kelly, Patrick, Erin and Kimberly and their families, my heartfelt sympathies to you all.

My friend for almost 60 years
Too many stories to pick except 1. When my mother was killed Kevin stayed with me throughout the entire ordeal 1982 - Kevin was everything a true friend could be. I will miss him terribly but will think of him often and fondly
