Kevin R Brennan, 68, of Lakewood NJ, died peacefully in his sleep on October 26, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kevin was a kind and gentle man devoted to his family and friends and will be missed by all who enjoyed his great stories. He had a great sense of humor which sustained him through his illness

Kevin was born on August 14, 1953 to Kevin A and Frances (San Fillippo) Brennan in Bad Kreuznach Germany. He spent his childhood in Maryland and New Jersey eventually landing in Fords where he graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1971. He enlisted in the US Navy shortly thereafter and served on the USS Francis Marion from 1971-75 when he was honorably discharged.

Kevin started his career in information technology when a computer took up an entire room and continued in the field until shortly before his death. He loved his career and was thankful for the guidance of his many mentors and especially to his current employer for their unconditional support during his illness.

Kevin is survived by his wife Debbie, his bonus daughters Erica and Rachel Simpson, his grandsons Kyle, Liam and Aiden, his sister Susen (Casey) Brennan and her son Tommy Stevely, as well as aunts, cousins, in-laws, and many more nieces and nephews and their children. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Lonnie Brennan.

Consistent with Kevin’s wishes a funeral will not be held at the present time. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for the spring. Kevin’s family will notify friends and extended family when the event is scheduled.
