How you can help
Donations to help with Kent's final expenses will ease the burden greatly on Julia.
These funds will cover the following:
- Mortuary and funeral home costs, including final viewing in Colorado, flight from Denver to Seattle, and human composting (fulfilling Kent's wishes)
- Memorial service and associated expenses
- Professional death care advice and services
- Memorial tree planting with Kent's compost, and any fees and professional costs associated with tree planting
- Bereavement travel assistance to family members and a few very close friends if needed
Any funds raised above this amount will go to Kent's chosen charity, the ACLU.
A separate fund will be set up to help his wife, Julia, with her own expenses during this time of grief and transition. Contribute

Obituary
Avid world traveler Kent Joseph Bozlinski was born in Englewood, Colorado. Kent attended Arapahoe High School outside of Denver and was a member of the band and chess club. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in film. He was an enthusiastic participant in the college ski team, played the tuba and saxophone, and founded a Theta Xi fraternity chapter with his friend Greg. Additionally, he studied …
