((Kenroy Johnson)), 78, of Oakland Park, FL passed away on April 23, 2022, after a short illness until death. Kenroy Johnson was born on March 2, 1944, to Nimrod Johnson and Estella Lindsay Johnson (both proceeded him in death) in the Parrish of Sommerset St. Andrews, Jamacia.  After graduating from high school in Kingston, Jamacia, He went on to study Accounting in Montego Bay, Jamacia.  He attended the School of Accounting and received an Accounting Degree. His first job was working with the local government of Kingston as a payroll clerk. He later transferred to St. James Parrish as a payroll clerk for 10 years. Kenroy moved to New York City in the USA in 1979, where he had various jobs.  He later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fl where he emabarked on a career as a Car Sales Consultant he worked in this profession from 1990 to 2020.   He was truly skilled in this job.  He loved it.! He met his spouse Bettye in 1991, and they were wed in September 1992. Kenroy has a son Wade Johnson (Mother Jean Thompson)  2 stepchildren Shantel Adderly Rorie and Todd Adderly.  Kenroy and Bettye moved to Tallahassee/Midway Florida where they  spent 14 years.  In 2020 they relocated to Fort Lauderdale. Kenroy refused to retire, he loved working with people. He landed a job at Lowe' s  where he worked until he could not anymore.  Kenroy loved to study his bible, iron clothes, watch sports and play with our pet Panda. He loved the Lord and he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior reverently.  Kenroy had 5 brothers and 2 sisters;  predeceased by [Maxwell; Victor(Patsy); Eddie Johnson(Gloria). He is survived by Gwendolyn Johnson; Indiana Johnson Harris(Roy); Nevel Johnson(Hyacinth).
