It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth Welliver on May 2025. A man born in the year 1935, Kenneth lived his life with humor and an adventurous spirit, facing each challenge and opportunity with dedication, respect, and unyielding perseverance.
Survived by his daughter Shelann Lockwood, son-in-law Bob Lockwood, daughter-in-law Anne Marie Welliver, granddaughters Kendall and Bailey Welliver, and brothers Greg and Chuck Welliver, Kenneth was a cherished family man. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elaine Welliver, and his son, Jeffery Welliver.
Taking joy in the restoration of classic Mustangs, Kenneth was often found at local Mustang clubs, sharing his love and knowledge of the iconic car with fellow enthusiasts. His handiness extended well beyond automobiles as he was also a dedicated Boy Scout leader, a role in which he helped shape the lives of many young men.
Among Kenneth's most notable achievements include the restoration of several award-winning classic Mustangs and bowling a perfect game. These accomplishments were a testament to his dedication, skill, and the infectious enthusiasm he brought to his interests. His passion extended to all classic Ford cars, a legacy he prided in sharing with his family and friends.
Throughout his 90 years, Kenneth's adventurous spirit, humor, and handiness were not only appreciated by those directly in his life but also by the many people he met along his journey. His lessons about dedication, respect, and perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A funeral service celebrating Kenneth's life and legacy will be held on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Marana. Those who knew and loved Kenneth are invited to attend and share their memories of a life well-lived. He will be profoundly missed by all.
