Dear Ken,
Happy Belated Birthday! I know I'm being selfish as I know you're up there looking out for us but I wish you were still here sharing birthdays and other earthly good times!
To Lisa, Cameron, Stephanie and families;
I can't imagine the void you must feel and how much you miss Ken. I hope your memories grow stronger and your sadness fades a little each day.
Ken was truly one of the best people I ever met and one of the best friends anyone could hope for. I think of him often and all the many fun times when had during our too short time together. I'll always relish our coaching days together and his ever present smile that he shared with everyone. While we were different in many ways, we both connected easily and effortlessly as only true friends can. He was always a steady presence, even when he wanted everyone to think he was mad or disappointed in a game or practice. I saw through it from the first that he was a teddy bear at heart no matter how hard he tried to show otherwise. I'm certain a few umpires would disagree though!!
The other thing I will always remember and cherish was his empathy for our Girls; His , Mine and ALL of the girls entrusted to us for coaching and mentoring. Ken was a leader in the latter and always knew just what each girl needed to grow stronger, and more successful, to fully enjoy being a part of a team and most importantly to have Fun doing it!!
Please know that Ken touched many many people and all of them are better off from those heartfelt interactions.
All the best,

I think about Ken often, recalling what a great friend and man he was. I miss him very much. He was such a good man in every aspect. I recently found a bunch of softball photos and it brought back great memories of our time together and all the girls we coached.
I’m confident they all remember Coach Green fondly.
I hope Lisa Cameron and Stephanie and families are doing well.
