So very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. He was such a special man. Always had something nice to say to us when we saw him. Β He will surely be missed by many.

My heart is broken for you and the family. Ken was an absolute gem and he will be missed by all who knew him because to know him was to love him. I will miss those big hugs and his sweet smile and contagious laugh. Love you guys so much and we’re here if you need anything.Β

It was the worst time in my life. My parents got divorced and everything was changing in my life and I didn’t know how to cope with it. I decided to go to Utah for a week to escape from it. I forget what was going on that day but it was all hitting me hard. Until I walk into the living room and Grandpa always says β€œgood morning gorgeous!”even with bed head and baggy eyes he always saw beauty in Everyone and everything. Grandma was at work and it was just us two and I’ll never forget the day he invited me to go to breakfast at Black Bear Diner. I think it was the only time I was ever alone with him. He was goofing off telling jokes like he always does making rock puns β€œGosh garnet! It’s none of your damn Bismuth!” I’ll never forget his humor even to his dying days Β he couldn’t help himself but make sure everyone was still laughing and smiling.Β
