Two memorial services are being planned, one in Maryland, where Laureys lived prior to his death, the other in New Jersey, where he spent the first quarter-century of his life. There will be a memorial mass service at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church at 5205 43rd Ave, Hyattsville, MD at 11 AM on Saturday, March 30th, followed by a repast to be held at the Riverdale Park Town Hall located at 5008 Queensbury Rd, Riverdale Park at 12:30 pm. The New Jersey memorial is open to all who knew Laureys and will be held at the Knights of Columbus on Route 46 in Netcong at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 7th.
