Kenneth's obituary

Kenneth D. Kile, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born June 26, 1983, in York, PA. The son of David L. Kile (Cynthia) and Michele Y. (Wolfe) Sprenkle (John), Ken was a multidisciplinary artist. He graduated from Central York High School in 2001 and enrolled at Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts. Ken developed his skill in graphite portraits over the years, which led him to a successful career as a custom tattoo artist specializing in black and grey photo realism. He was sponsored by PEAK and opened Invicta Tattoo in Bloomsburg, PA, in July 2014. Ken was recognized as an artist nationally and internationally over his lifetime and was featured in various publications. Including his parents, Kenneth is survived by a daughter Dylan M. Kile, 7, of Mt. Wolf, paternal grandparents Clair Kile, Jr. of Spring Grove and Irene A. Kile of Yoe, maternal grandmother Loretta Y. Wolfe of York, a companion Chelsea Haladay of Wrightsville, siblings Kimberlee (Kile) Henry of Mt. Wolf, Ashley McWilliams of York, Amanda Walker of York, Joshua Sprenkle of Lewisberry, Dominique Sprenkle of Lutz, FL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family is planning a Celebration of Life service, which will be announced on social media. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. York is assisting the family. In place of flowers, contributions to Dylan’s college fund.
