Ken's obituary
Kenneth G. Keller, 90, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Ken was born on June 3, 1934, in El Paso, Texas, and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1953-1957. After his service, Ken moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he worked as a computer programmer at the University of Arizona.
In the late 1970s, Ken met Faye Hungerford through a mutual friend. They married in 1978, and along with Faye's son, Shawn Belverud, they built a home together on Tucson's east side. Ken and Faye shared many happy years together until her passing in 2022.
Ken was passionate about a variety of interests, including metal detecting in the desert surrounding Arizona's ghost towns. He was a dedicated fan of the Arizona Wildcats, especially their basketball and football teams. Additionally, Ken enjoyed playing chess, wood carving, and tending to his garden.
Ken is survived by his stepchildren, Debbie Huckabee and Kerry (Emily) Huckabee, along with their six children and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye Keller; his daughter, Krysta Keller; his stepson, Shawn Belverud; and his step-grandson, Christopher Huckabee.

Ken will be remembered for his warm spirit, his dedication to family, and his many interests and passions. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
