Kenneth "Bone" Hammond, 65, of Roxie, MS, peacefully passed away on October 29, 2022.

Born in Harriman, Tennessee to Clarence and Mamie (Buckles) Hammond. Kenneth or known by many as "Bone" has a love of sports starting with his basketball skills. Kenneth was fiercely passionate about work from the start and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of success and his family.  This kickstarted a career at Dupont and later at Denbury. With marriage, Kenneth went on to have 5 children.  Kenneth put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. Kenneth was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Kenneth was also a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. He spent most of his retirement studying and teaching the Bible to others. Kenneth was predeceased by father Clarence E Hammond. He leaves to mourn his mother Mamie Buckles, 5 children; Bernetta Huff, Vernette Huff, Kenneth Hammond Jr, Kennitha (Jerry) Dillard and Clarence Hammond, Sisters Marilyn (Willie) Hammond Jackson, Kimberly Hammond and Lisa Hammond. Brother Clarence (Windy) Hammond Jr. 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a viewing on Thursday October 10th @ Mackel and Sons Natchez, MS from 2pm-3pm. There will be a burial side service on Friday November 11th @ Roxie Cemetery on Old Roxie Rd Roxie, MS.
