We are so very sorry for the pain of sorrow you are experiencing in the death of Ken! We know our words cannot ease you pain, but we want you to know we are trusting our Lord to give you peace, comfort and an assurance of His great love for each of you and HIs cares about the emptiness you feel without Ken.

Our family has so many wonderful memories of the entire Erickson family! You were such a strong unit together which makes it is hard to not write on about how you each of you blessed us in so many different ways. However, there were times when Ken came to our rescue when we had house repair issues. He was always so gracious and smiled that "it will be fine - no thank you is needed" whenever we tried to tangibly thank him.

We have missed you so very much since we left Duluth and we treasure your family.

Love, hugs and prayers! Mark, Sybil, Peter and Debbie

Linnea & family, I am so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. He always had a smile & a good chuckle whenever I visited with you. Wish I could be there to hug you. Know that you are all in my prayers.

Lana Hom

Getting to know Ken was like asking a grizzly bear to tea…he always kept me guessing in the early years, but Linnea saved me every time. My husband Jack didn’t have any problem—they could talk fish and more fish and boats too. The dogs always helped—they could even write letters telling what Ken and Lynn had been doing…every Christmas the family and friends were always updated with recent antics. No one else could sit late into the night with no jacket or sweater for warmth other than Ken…he was our campfires invincible ice man! We only knew him for a small slice of God’s time each summer but he was the dearest, sweetest fellow around the fire. Others tell the stories, but Ken was the treasure we all shared.
