My dad loved the University of Tennessee's football team....in 1986, we went to the Sugar Bowl against the Miami Hurricanes...we drove in our blue Volvo station wagon with the whole family from Atlanta to Nee Orleans....and I think we played Rocky Top the entire way there!!! We beat the Hurricanes...and last night's victory for UT over Alabama would have made him so very happy! I believe they won that game for dad...and it just made me miss him even more...

I miss him so very much....

So sorry to find Ken's passing. I come from his distant past when we were making it through UT and studying for those tough finals. And then on to Lockheed and the inevitable parting of ways. God it it's been a long time and it has passed so quickly! Rest in peace my friend and my very best and comfort to your family.

I have such wonderful memories of you and your family coming in to dine at Pappadeaux. I looked so forward to seeing all of you on the weekends. I would always alert my shuckers the moment I saw you walking in! Raw oysters, crab fingers and the occasional poboy! It didn’t take long for you all to become family to me. I love each and every one of you so very much! Rest easy my sweet, dear friend!
