Ken's obituary

Beloved Kenneth J. Cardoza passed away on 9-15-2021 at home surrounded by friends and family in Tualatin Or.
Most honorable husband, father, father in law,  Vuvu, friend, uncle, and brother.  He was  Known for being Kind, considerate, patient, a good listener, a great question asker and he was definitely known to be a story teller.

Ken was a collector of 'others' stories. A true blue Historian. A Lover of his great country, America. He loved and honored those who served our country in the military.

He was the youngest of four. His father was a dairy farmer in Visalia, California until his father passed away when ken was just 13. His mother lived to be well into her 90s. His family was 100% portuguese.  And he spoke just a few words in his native tongue (it was beautiful to hear).

Mostly, Ken loved and worshiped his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He read his bible everyday, not because he felt obligated but because he always wanted to know his Lord better. He lived for his eternal home of where he is now! He loved his 4 adult children and sons and daughter in laws and his 4 grandchildren with 3 more coming (of which he knew of).

He worked as a respiratory therapist for over 30 years. Everybody loved him. On quiet days, he was frequently found 'drawing' his patients.

He was always an artist since a very young age and any chance he got to draw and paint he did it,

for fun and for commissioned work.

His most endearing quality is how much he loved his wife, Me! I was completely blessed to have a man like this love me the way he did. He loved me the way Christ loves His church. I have no words to express how much this precious man will be missed by me and by so many! He was Special!

Until we meet again my love!
