Dear Donna, and all,

I was so sorry to hear of Merrill's sudden passing.  I've been thinking of a lifetime of visits, from Clinton TN/Smoky Mountains to  Harry's 100th birthday, to many  family  reunions, both international and 'home'.  My warm thoughts and love are with you.

Pat B  (Warren & Elsie's 2nd)

Dean Donna and family, I am so sad to know that this great man of God is gone  but also happy that Merrill is with Jesus . I am keeping you in my prayers and send you all my love. Ghislou

Grateful for my Uncle Merrill, my mom's baby brother, and especially his dedication to  our Bolender family reunion all these many years. Sorry to see him leave the earth so soon as I was looking forward to spending many more family reunions with him. I will  miss him dearly but am looking forward with hopeful expectation to a grand family reunion in Heaven with our Father and His Son. 🙏🏻 ❤️ 💓 💙 💕 💗 🙏🏻
Merrill was a wonderful friend to my father, Don Smithson. He and Donna were a great comfort to him after my mother’s death, and to me and his widow, Erika, after my father passed away. I’d like to think they are together again now, Merrill telling a joke and dad getting a good laugh. Sending lots of love to Donna and the boys during this difficult time.
Sorry to hear this, but I'm happy for him because I know he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a part of our South side fellowship at the YMCA in the 70's. He baptized me in the swimming pool. I remember the story he told about him and all of the siblings being conceived under an apple tree. He had a wild sense of humor!
I was very sorry to hear of Merrill's home-going, though I know he is celebrating being in the Arms of his Loving Savior.  I have very fond memories of our time together at the MMC in the '70s.
We miss him already but we know he is in the best place and reuniting with others who have gone on before and seeing Jesus, whom he served well! I treasure the prayers he prayed and the encouraging and funny posts he shared and how he loved the Jewish people and helped the Church to understand why and how we also ought to love them.

He will be missed, especially his witness and service to Christ Jesus. He has heard his savior say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant! 🙏
We are blessed to have been church family and friends with Merrill. He was a man who walked with wisdom, grace, faith, and love everyday. ♥️
I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Merrill's passing.

Donna & Family,

I pray that the Lord's presence will bring  comfort  to your hearts.  I'm truly sorry for your loss.
