Robin's obituary

Kenneth 'Robin' Beasley, age 38, passed away on June 3, 2024, at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born on February 19, 1986, in Newark, Ohio, Kenneth's life was a testament to kindness, brilliance, and unwavering dedication to the communities they loved.

Kenneth was the beloved child of Ethel Spivey and the late Ken Spivey. They are survived by their sisters Kaleesa, Kaleena and Kassandra, and predeceased by their sister Jade. Their legacy lives on through their nephews Jaden and Kashmiere, and their nieces Dimira, Ziona, and Kaja.

Kenneth had a remarkable career, serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Nexus Gaming Alliance, co-founding and co-hosting the Level Grinding Podcast, and working as Chief Marketing and QA Officer at Gremm Studios. Their passion for video games extended beyond their professional roles, as they lent their voice to various independent video game projects, earning them a cherished place in the gaming community.

A person of many interests, Kenneth was an enthusiastic participant and officer in conventions, their most beloved being A&G Ohio/A&G Con. Kenneth was also an avid voice actor, and a devoted gamer. They had a deep love for anime and Dungeons and Dragons, where their creativity and humor shone brightly. Known for their kindness and willingness to help others, Kenneth's generosity and selflessness touched many lives.

Kenneth was also a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights, tirelessly championing these causes with the same passion and commitment they brought to every aspect of their life.

A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at KenCon, taking place at The Hyatt Place Polaris, 2006 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240, starting on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 4:30 PM. 

Kenneth 'Robin Dagonet' Beasley will be remembered as a kind, loving, and brilliant individual who brought joy and light to all who knew them. Their humor, generosity, and unwavering support for their friends and family will be deeply missed, but their spirit will live on in the hearts of those they touched.
