Even when I approached you years later asking about tips on how my brother could get into UniAbuja Law Faculty, you helped me with every information you could. 

I was not a close friend yet you made an impact; now imagine how much of an impact you made to those close to you. 

We cannot question Our Maker but I know for a fact that Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and that you shall continue to watch over your family with the angels till we all meet to part no more.

Kene… I’m glad I went to Abuja last year and got to see you

We didn’t spend alot of time together but I knew how amazing of a person you were

Why? Because Helen couldn’t stop talking about how good you were to her.

The Heavens are glad because they got THE BEST ONE….

If only I knew you were sick I would have made sure to spend all my time in Abuja with you.

TRIBUTE TO A BROTHER, ROLE MODEL AND ADVISER

KENE…. Hmmm, I’m still speechless, I’m still surprised, I still feel like you’re probably on a holiday and would come back soon, but God knows best.

I remember so many memories with you, that reminds me of how selfless and how much of a beautiful human you were.

You taught me an easy route to study law(in my diploma days) trying to put me through assignments and exam questions, you made me understand that law becomes difficult only for the lazy ones(something you were not). You became my role model right from these moments. I remember how encouraging you were on the phone when I told you about me and Stephanie starting a business, how you kept us on a video call trying to put your corrections into effect. Kene you’re a support system that everyone should have.

Who would call me asking for my abacha recipe now? Who would ask me how far my business has gone? Who would call me to come down to the house to eat coconut rice? Who would ask me to share my location with him when I’m going out?

Kene… I thank God for the opportunity to spend my last year holiday with you, because though I didn’t see it as my last time with you, but I got to build memories that would keep you forever in my heart, I got to see you differently and experience your brotherly love.

It saddens me that I was not there for you, but I understand you just did not want self pity.. Kene you’ll forever remain in my heart, my kids would definitely hear of their Barrister Uncle, and I’ll continue to tell people, how beautiful of a soul you were here on earth.
