Kendrick's obituary
Kendrick Deshone Bell II age 25 was born on March 6, 1998, to Deairra Jones and Kendrick Bell in Waukegan IL. Kendrick was full of life and always hungry for more. Kendrick was humble and kind and loved his family and friends dearly.
Kendrick was inquisitive. He never felt he had all the answers, and there was always more to learn. Kendrick enjoyed traveling and had some incredible adventures with his family and friends. He always had an eagerness to learn and explore. He played many roles in life, such as a son, brother, nephew, grandson, godson, friend, and coach. A genuine light in this world.
Kendrick graduated Warren Township High School and he attended Kent State University. Kendrick was affectionately called Jr., by his Mom, Lil Drick by his Dad and Kenny by his best friend, Jalen. Kendrick took pride in the community he found within his job as a group physical trainer at Orange Theory Fitness in Lake Forest and beyond. Kendrick received his certification from Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and worked for Orange Theory Fitness for 4 years. Kendrick was passionate about his job and encouraged others to work out and live a healthy lifestyle. He coached his his last class on Friday 2/23/24. He received his leukemia diagnosis later that evening. Kendrick was a highly motivated athlete who had a burning passion for health and fitness and it showed. His radiant energy was contagious and everyone who joined him for class could feel it. He took good care of himself and his body, unlike many people. This passion comes from the discipline his parents poured into him and his brother, Kendell. Despite having a rambunctious little brother, Kendrick was there, every step of the way. He worked to be a role model for his brother and forever will leave his legacy.
On March 1, 2024, Kendrick peacefully departed this life surrounded by so much love. Kendrick leaves behind a mystery and a void that will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and his community.
