We rented from Kendra for a couple of months when we moved to Mancos. She was so welcoming. She invited us to her home and events and introduced us to her friends. She radiated warmth and human connection. Sending love to her family xo

Kendra's father John is my cousin. Kendra's death is heartbreaking. It was so unexpected and she was too young. My prayers are with you all in this painful and distressing time.
I hope John and Mari will find some comfort reading the essay about dealing with grief that John sent me last year when my husband died. I also lost a son when he was 6 years old. The hole in your hearts and lives will never leave but I hope the wonderful memories you have of her will fill some of it.
