On the very last day of this year 2024, our beautiful Kelsey departed from us. This year marks 20 years of tears, heartache, and growth. This website has been created to remember our beautiful sister, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend.

Some of you may not have had the opportunity to know Kelsey, but may have some sense of connection or empathy for her or our family. Please use this platform to share your memories, words of encouragement, or thoughts. This is a place I would like to visit to keep her spirit alive. Thank you.

Kelsey Teresa Leonard, 13, beloved daughter of Felicitas Bayna and George F. Leonard, of Branford Ave., Groton, passed away Friday morning, Dec. 31, 2004. She was born on Feb. 26, 1991, in Philadelphia, Pa.

She was a beautiful girl of wit and charm with a cheerful nature, known for her creative and artistic abilities. She was an 8th grade student at West Side Middle School in Groton.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Damien; two sisters, Tasia and Carina; her maternal grandparents, Consuelo and Modesto Bayna of Groton; her paternal grandfather, Thomas Leonard, of Philadelphia; and a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
