Dear Maggie:  I am so surprised at your loss.  Kelly and I were friends in the eighth and ninth grades.  She taught me how to throw a frisbee and put my hair In a  ponytail.  You may not remember me, but you were happy to shuttle us from my house to yours for a sleepover.  You’re an amazing person and so was Kelly.  This comes as a little bit of a shock to me.  I can only offer my condolences.  Are you still in the same house?  A house of happiness and parties.  Sincerely, Lindy.
In the summer of 1978 when we were just kids I met Kelly in Harborview. My parents were divorced and my mom had moved in with Ed Svec. My dad had custody of me and I was visiting Harborview. It was a scary and confusing time for me. I didn’t know anyone there, but Kelly introduced herself and showed me around the small island. We hung out at the beach and went out on our boat. She introduced me to her brothers Shawn and Rick. It was a long time ago, but I appreciated her kindness forever. Thanks Kelly. RIP ❤️
Dear Maggie, Sheila and family,

I guess I will start in the early 80's when I met this Wonderful young Girl named Kelly , It was at her house her brother Geoff and I were working together on some odd Jobs and I was introduced to her after work one day and all I can remember is this beautiful young girl with this beautiful smile and she was just getting ready to go windsurfing , it was almost like your Favorite Commercial when your young and you see it later on periodically and still Love it !!! I Have known Kelly since then and Great times have been had by her and I , Also with mutual friends that we both knew . When I found out tonight that Kelly passed acouple of weeks ago I was devastated and filled with much sadness ,but most of all with more Love . On that note I can say the Angels will be Windsurfing up in Heaven. Much Love to her Family and friends . And I am Truly Sorry for Kelly's Loss to Everyone that She loved & Loved her back !!! XOXO Kelly you are missed more than words can say ! I'm just glad I had the Pleasure of knowing you as long as I did . Much Love Always Keith Goldstein

KET and her

KET and her "twin" Erin Wachob
I've known Kelly since I was in my early 20's (almost 20 years ago) when I met her and Sheila out and about through many different mutual friends in Norwalk/Rowayton. K.E.T. as I called her, was always like an older sister to me -- and to some that didnt know us, assumed we were in fact sisters. We spent many afternoons hanging out at Sunset Grille listening to who ever was playing that day, or down in Rowayton at a slew of different spots, some of which arent even there anymore, and of course always at their Harborview home just sitting on beach chairs, sipping wine and eating whatever tray of snacks she had put together for us all to enjoy. I think my most recent memory of KET was a few years back - and I hadnt seen her or Sheila in a few years at that point. I ran into KET down in SoNo and she invited me over to Maggie's house that coming weekend to celebrate Sheila's birthday. The best part about it, was she kept it a secret to Sheila. Needless to say, we had such a great evening catching up - both together with Sheila, other Teeds that live locally and of course a bunch of mutual friends that I hadnt seen in some time.
I remember when Sheila had come to me upon Kelly's initial symptons (back in '16 I believe). I had a connection with a speciality doctor that we hoped would be able to get some more information on what Kelly was living with and possibly approaching. Never did I think it would be such a harsh battle with ALS.
What a tough broad she was - and beautiful in and out all the way through.

I will miss my friend KET dearly.....and will always hold our fun memories out in the sun together closely and dearly to my heart.

RIP my friend.
Love Erin
