Kelly's obituary
Kelly Schull, 64, of Pemberton, MN, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Mapleton Community Center after a very short stay. Kelly was born on May 6, 1961, in Mankato, MN, to Ronald and Melva Schull. He grew up in Wells graduating from Wells Easton Highschool and worked with the family business.
Kelly was a beloved father, son, brother, and uncle who courageously battled ALS for several years. A hardworking mechanic for most of his life, he was known for his strong hands, steady determination, and willingness to help anyone in need.
He was a devoted father who deeply loved his daughters, and nothing brought him more pride than being a grandfather. His love for his family was quiet but unwavering, shown in every sacrifice he made. He lived a life defined not by words, but by action - offering love through hard work, resilience, and constant support. Despite the challenges he faced, his strength never faded.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the legacy of love, strength, and support he leaves behind.
Kelly is survived by his daughters, Misty (Ace) Hardy and Amber Schull; granddaughter, Austyn Winterlin; grandson, Julien Moctezuma; mother, Melva Schull; brothers, Barry (Debbie) Schull, Ronald (Nancy) Schull, Jody (Denise) Schull, Jamie (Sonja) Schull; sister, Michelle (Randy) Johnson; and special friend, Stacy Danks.
He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 2 great-great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Schull; great-niece, Alliah Larson; and his grandparents.
All are welcome to honor Kelly’s life with a graveside ceremony officiated by his brother, Barry. The ceremony will be held at Medo Central Cemetery in Blue Earth County, MN, on Saturday, May 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
